Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting the seed purity of ricinus communist L. hybrid CSR24.181, and the method comprises the steps of: (1) extracting the genomic DNA of a seedling leaf of a ricinus communist L. hybrid seed; (2) taking the genomic DNA as a template, and selecting a specific SSR primer pair for PCR (polymerase chain reaction) amplification; (3) conducting gel electrophoresis to the amplification product; and (4) analyzing the electrophoresis result. Only a single plant having parental specific bands simultaneously can be a real CSR24.181 hybrid, and the average value of detected purity results is the seed purity of the CSR24.181 hybrid. The detection method provided in the invention has the advantages of speediness, intuitiveness, convenience, practicability, stable heredity, and insusceptibility to influences of environmental conditions, and can compensate for the shortages of traditional and conventional purity detection.
