The backpack type wireless optical stimulation device comprises an optical fiber, an optical fiber coupling device, a backpack control circuit, a laser light-emitting diode (LED), an upper computer, a wireless transmission module and a wireless receiving module, wherein the wireless transmission module is matched with the wireless receiving module; the backpack control circuit comprises a microprocessor and a light source drive circuit which are electrically connected with each other; the optical fiber coupling device comprises a shell, an LED connecting piece, an optical fiber coupling lens component and an optical fiber collimator; the upper computer transmits a stimulation command to the backpack control circuit through the wireless transmission module and the wireless receiving module; the backpack control circuit receives the stimulation command and converts electrical signals into a series of optical signals representing optical stimulation characteristics; and the optical signals are transmitted into a light-sensing gene brain region of a target animal through the optical fiber coupling device and the optical fiber, so that the optical stimulation effect on the light-sensing gene brain region is achieved.
