The alloy comprises following chemical compositions by weight percentage: 18 to 40 percent of Co, 27 to 32 percent of Cr, 10 to 25 percent of Ni, 0.5 to 2 percent of Si, 1.0 to 3.0 percent of Nb, 0.5 to 1 percent of Mn, 0.05 to 0.12 percent of C, 0.01 to 0.1 percent of RE, and the rest percent of Fe. The high-temperature-resistant casting cobalt-based alloy and the preparation method thereof have the advantages that through reasonable selection of raw materials, a melting process, a modification treatment process of melt, a pouring process, and the like, the comprehensive performance of the cobalt-based high temperature alloy material is effectively improved; the material can be used for manufacturing parts, such as cobalt-based alloy roll collars of continuous casting and continuous rolling conveyor belts, and the like; good melt treatment measures and a reasonable melting sequence are adopted by the preparation method, and deoxidizers and RE rare earth refining agents with remarkable effects are added, so that oxide inclusions in the melt are greatly reduced and solid solution strengthening effects of alloy elements are greatly improved.
