Embodiment 1

[0019] 1.1 Sample determination

[0020] Accurately weigh 5.00g of a red gelatin hollow capsule into a 250mL glass conical flask, add 400mg MgCl 2 , 0.5mL phosphate buffer, add the digestion solution to 50mL. Seal it with microwave plastic wrap, and place it in a water bath at 80°C for 1 hour of shaking and digestion. After the digestion is complete, cool to room temperature, filter with 0.45 μm membrane, take 10 mL of the filtrate and place it in a 50 mL small beaker, add 10 mL of nitric acid, cover with a watch glass and place it on a hot plate for acid digestion. After digestion to clarification, concentrate to about 2mL, cool to room temperature, transfer to a 10mL volumetric flask, distill to volume with distilled water, shake well, and wait for measurement.

[0021] 1.2 Determination by atomic absorption spectrophotometry

Embodiment 2

[0034] According to the experimental procedure described in Example 1, a certain gelatin negative sample was spiked to determine the influence of trivalent chromium on hexavalent chromium. Weigh 6 samples of 5.0 g each, of which 100 μg of Cr(VI) was added to three samples, and 100 μg of Cr(VI) and Cr(III) were added to the other three samples, and extraction and determination were carried out according to step 1.1. The average recovery of samples with only Cr(VI) addition was 94.6%, and that of samples with addition of Cr(VI) and Cr(III) was 92.6%, with relative standard deviations of 9.9% and 9.8%, respectively. The recoveries and relative standard deviations of the two are very small. Therefore, trivalent chromium has no significant effect on the recovery rate of hexavalent chromium.

Abstract

The invention discloses gelatin and a method for measurement of hexavalent chromium in a product thereof. The method comprises the following steps of: adding MgC12, a phosphate buffer liquid and Na2CO3/NaOH solution into a sample; placing in a water bath with 75 to 85 DEG C, and performing oscillation digestion for 0.5 to 1.5 hours; cooling to room temperature, and leaching by using a filter membrane of 0.45 micrometer; placing a filter liquid on an electric heating plate for acid digestion; and diluting a digestion liquid, metering constant volume, and measuring the content of the hexavalent chromium by an atomic absorption spectrometry method. Substrate interference is removed by adopting acid digestion, the method has high specificity and sensitivity, and a result is accurate.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for determining hexavalent chromium, in particular to a method for determining hexavalent chromium in gelatin and its products. Background technique [0002] The toxicity of chromium is related to its valence state. Hexavalent chromium is a strong carcinogen, 100 times more toxic than trivalent chromium, and is easily absorbed by the human body and accumulates in the body, causing significant harm to human living environment and health. It is found that some unscrupulous gelatin manufacturers illegally use leather waste "blue alum skin" as raw material to produce industrial gelatin in the market, pretending to be edible gelatin or medicinal gelatin. Industrial gelatin often contains high levels of chromium, which may contain highly toxic hexavalent chromium, which has aroused close attention from the society. [0003] There are many methods for the determination of hexavalent chromium, such as: spectrophotometry, ion...
