Abstract

The invention provides a detection reagent for heavy metals in water and a detection method of the detection reagent. The detection reagent comprises components in parts by weight as follows: 10-15 parts of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid disodium salt, 5-10 parts of an ammonia solution, 3-5 parts of ammonium citrate, 3-5 parts of sodium erythorbate, 1-3 parts of dimethylglyoxime, 1-3 parts of Eriochrome black T, 1-5 parts of a surfactant, 5-10 parts of n-butyl alcohol, 10-15 parts of ethanol and 40-60 parts of water. The detection method comprises steps as follows: taking two detection reagents with same volumes, adding a to-be-detected aqueous solution to the first detection reagent to form a first mixed solution; adding deionized water with the volume equal to that of the to-be-detected aqueous solution to the second detection reagent to form a second mixed solution; observing color changes of the first mixed solution with the second mixed solution taken as a reference. The detection reagent for the heavy metals in the water is more sensitive in reaction and has the higher detection efficiency.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of detection reagents, in particular to a heavy metal detection reagent in water and a detection method thereof. [0002] Background technique [0003] Heavy metals refer to atomic density greater than 5g / cm 3 There are about 45 kinds of metal elements, such as copper, lead, zinc, cadmium, manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, vanadium, titanium, mercury, tungsten, molybdenum, gold, silver and so on. Although heavy metals such as manganese, copper, and zinc are trace elements required for life activities, most heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury are not necessary for life activities, and all heavy metals are toxic to the human body if they exceed a certain concentration. With the expansion of cities and the development of large-scale industries, the heavy metal pollution in the atmosphere, soil and water environment is increasing day by day. Heavy metal pollution is one of the main problems of water pollutio...
