The process is characterized by comprising the following steps of: adding lithium nitrate, manganese nitrate and nickel nitrate into a cobaltous sulfate solution prepared from sulfonic acid cobalt generated during zinc smelting, adding a colloidal particle grown inhibitor, adding a linear high polymer material, and fully stirring to obtain a precursor sol; and carrying out concentration, dual-roller thread throwing and calcination to obtain the carbon-containing cobalt nickel manganese oxide electrode material.
