The electrolytic capacitor comprises an aluminum shell, and a capacitor element and a chip resistor, which are arranged in the shell, wherein a capacitor core of the capacitor element comprises a porous tantalum powder agglomerate positive electrode matrix formed by briquetting tantalum metal powder and sintering the same at a high temperature, an effective area within a unit volume thereof is large, and a use temperature range is wide; a TaO5 film is formed on the surface of the tantalum powder agglomerate positive electrode matrix by positive electrode oxidation, the dielectric constant of the TaO5 film is larger than that of an aluminum oxide film, so under the same withstand voltage and capacitance condition, the volume of a tantalum electrolytic capacitor is much smaller than that of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, so an ultra-small element can be made, moreover, the performance is stable, and good electrical performance can be still kept under long-term work.
