Abstract

A flame retardant copper-clad plate composition containing a soft filler is disclosed. The composition includes, by weight, 60-90 parts of flame retardant epoxy resin, 10-40 parts of a soft composite filler, a curing agent the adding amount of which is 0.5-5% of the adding amount of the flame retardant epoxy resin, an accelerant the adding amount of which is 0.05-1% of the adding amount of the flame retardant epoxy resin and a solvent the adding amount of which is 30-60% of the total solid amount. The flame retardant epoxy resin includes phosphorus-containing epoxy resin, bromine-containing epoxy resin or a mixture with phosphorus-free bromine-free epoxy resin at any ratio. Chemical components of the soft composite filler are powder of blend melt, eutectic or mixtures of oxides and sulfates of silicon, magnesium, aluminum, antimony and barium elements. Raw materials are rich in source and low in price. The composition has obvious functions of inhibiting growth of microbes and funguses. The composition is low in Moh's hardness, and can reduce abrasion to processing equipment, thus significantly reducing the cost.
