Embodiment 1

[0042] Example 1: as figure 1 As shown, it is composed of a brush head and a brush handle. The brush head is composed of a light guide backplane 1, an LED chip array 2 and a light guide fiber 3. The brush handle is composed of an LED drive circuit 4, a wire 5, and an external power interface. 6. It is composed of external optical signal interface 7 and optical fiber 8; among them:

[0043] The LED chip array 2 is bonded to the upper surface of the light guide backplane 1 with medical grade glue, with the light-emitting surface facing down;

[0044] The light guide fiber 3 is made into the shape of toothbrush bristles, and is adhered to the lower surface of the light guide backplane 1 with medical grade glue;

[0045] The LED drive circuit 4 is implanted at the inner end of the brush handle, and is connected to the LED chip array 2 through the wire 5 implanted in the front front end of the interior of the brush handle;

[0046] The external power interface is implanted at the b...

Embodiment 2

[0053] Example 2: Using the device described in Example 1, the device adopts an external light source mode:

[0054] (1) Use the external optical signal interface to introduce the light of the specified wavelength emitted by the external light source into the optical fiber connection line through the converging lens to form an optical signal with high energy density;

[0055] (2) The optical signal with high energy density is transmitted to the brush head through the optical fiber connecting line;

[0056] (3) The optical signal with high energy density is evenly dispersed on the light guide backplane by the divergent lens installed at the connection between the optical fiber connection line and the light guide backplane;

[0057] (4) The uniformly dispersed light introduced by the external light source is introduced into the deep gingival gap through the optical fiber for treatment.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of photodynamic sterilization and in particular to a toothbrush-type device for treating periodontitis by using photodynamic therapy. The device consists of a brush head and a brush handle. The brush head comprises a light guide backplane, an LED chip and light guide fibers in brush hair shapes. The brush handle comprises a LED driver circuit, a wire, an external power interface, an external optical signal interface and a fiber connection line. The device can select an internal LED light source mode or an external light source mode. In the internal LED light source mode, the LED chip emits light under the control of the driver circuit, an optical signal is introduced into the gingival crevice by the light guide fibers, and the photodynamic therapy is used to treat the periodontitis. In the external light source mode, the optical signal of an external light source is introduced by an external light signal interface, is transmitted to the light guide fibers through the fiber connection line and the light guide backplane to deeply penetrate into the gingival crevice to treat the periodontitis. The device achieves a purpose of optimizing a treatment effect and alleviating the pain of a patient by improving the shape of a treatment instrument anda treatment mode, and also greatly simplifies a treatment process.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the cross field of medical treatment and lighting technology, and particularly relates to a toothbrush-type LED device for treating periodontitis by using photodynamic force. Background technique [0002] Photodynamic therapy refers to the use of specific wavelengths of light to cause photochemical reactions in the irradiated tissue. In an aerobic environment, the excited state photosensitizer transfers energy to surrounding oxygen molecules to generate reactive oxygen species, which interact with adjacent organisms. Molecules undergo oxidative reactions, resulting in strong cytotoxic effects, which in turn lead to cell damage and even death. In recent years, photodynamic therapy has been widely used as an adjuvant therapy in the treatment of oral diseases, especially for periodontal inflammation caused by bacterial infection. [0003] However, traditional photodynamic therapy is limited to light-killing bacteria on the surfac...
