Abstract

The invention discloses an environment-friendly repellent insecticide, made from, by weight, 0.1-40% of thiamethoxam, 10-85% of cinnamon leaf powder, 10-60% of head oil and tail oil of wintergreen, 1-10% of an emulsifying agent, and 0.1-0.8% of an antioxidant. The environment-friendly repellent insecticide has the advantages that the cinnamon leaf powder is effective in repelling pests, is synergic to thiamethoxam, and allows improved activity for thiamethoxam and reduced consumption of thiamethoxam; the head oil and tail oil, as byproducts, of wintergreen can be used to replace organic solvents used in the preparation of pesticide emulsifiable concentrate preparations, the cost is lowered, and the problems are avoided such as environmental pollution and biological poisoning; in addition,both the cinnamon leaf powder and wintergreen are vegetative ingredients and may completely degrade in the environment with no residue or pollution left.
