Problems solved by technology

Although nitrate is neither electron donor nor directly toxic to bacteria, Bingchuan (Liu, B.; Lei, Y.; Li, B., A batch-mode cubemicrobial fuel cell based “shock” biosensor for wastewater The single-chamber MFC constructed by qualitymonitoring.Biosensors and Bioelectronics 2014,62,308-314) can warn the impact of nitrate concentration in situ: when a certain amount of nitrate appears in the influent, the external circuit voltage drops
The author analyzed that the cause of the drop in the voltage of the external circuit was that the nitrate consumed the electrons that should have been transferred to the cathode through the external circuit at the anode, but the degree of drop was very small (the voltage drop ratio was less than 5%), and the sensitivity was low, so it was not necessary Possibility of practical application
In particular, when the concentration of organic matter and nitrate nitrogen in the influent both increase, there will be great difficulties in early warning of nitrate

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for prewarning nitrate in water. By the method, prewarning of the nitrate in water is achieved by monitoring the voltage change between an anode and a cathode of an open running-based microbial electrochemical sensor. The sensitivity of prewarning the nitrate in a water environment by running the microbial electrochemical sensor in an open mode can be 2-6 times higher than that in an access mode; moreover, signal interference caused by the concentration of background organic matters in the water is relatively small; meanwhile, under combined impact of the organic matters and the nitrate, effective prewarning can be still achieved; in addition, the stability is relatively strong during long-term running. By the method, a brand-new and effective way is provided for real-time online prewarning of the nitrate, and a strong guarantee is provided for drinking water safety and human health.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of water environment monitoring, and in particular relates to a method for using a microbial electrochemical sensor based on open-circuit operation for early warning of nitrate in water. Background technique [0002] With the development of economy and society, the population pressure is increasing, so the application of nitrogen fertilizer in agricultural production has increased significantly. However, due to the low efficiency of nitrogen fertilizer application, the concentration of nitrate in water is on the rise. On the one hand, excessive nitrate concentration will aggravate the degree of eutrophication of water body, thereby threatening ecological security, and on the other hand, it will also endanger human health, which requires the monitoring of nitrate concentration in the water environment. At present, the monitoring of nitrate concentration is mainly carried out offline detection, which lacks tim...
