Problems solved by technology

[0005] The generation of BOG means the loss of LNG, and thus has a great impact on the transportation efficiency
Furthermore, when BOG accumulates in the storage tank, there is a risk that the pressure inside the storage tank increases excessively, causing damage to the tank

Abstract

Disclosed is a method to discharge lubricant from a boil-off gas (BOG) reliquefaction system, which compresses BOG by a compressor, cools the compressed BOG through heat exchange with evaporation gasbefore compression in a heat exchanger, and decompress the heat-exchanged and cooled fluid in a decompressor. According to the present invention, the method to discharge lubricant bypasses BOG througha bypass line and compresses the BOG by a compressor including at least one lubrication type cylinder. The BOG compressed by the compressor is supplied to an engine, and excessive BOG remaining afterbeing supplied to the engine is supplied to the heat exchanger to be compressed by the compressor, and condensed or solidified lubricant is melted, or viscosity is lowered by heated evaporation gas to be discharged.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method of draining lubricating oil and an engine fuel supply method, and more particularly to a boil-off gas reliquefaction system in which a liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship to be supplied as fuel to an engine Of the boil-off gas generated in the storage tank, excess boil-off gas higher than the fuel requirement of the engine is reliquefied using the boil-off gas as a refrigerant. Background technique [0002] Recently, consumption of liquefied gas such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) has been rapidly increasing worldwide. Liquefied gas obtained by cooling natural gas to extremely low temperatures has a much smaller volume than natural gas and is therefore more suitable for storage and transportation. Furthermore, since air pollutants in natural gas can be reduced or removed during the liquefaction process, liquefied gases such as LNG are eco-friendly fuels with low air pollutant emissions after combustion.
