Problems solved by technology

[0004] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a SSPP localized electromagnetic field enhancement device based on folded substrate-substrate integrated waveguide, which can confine the electromagnetic field to a small range on the metal surface and enhance it, and at the same time improve the artificial surface plasmon The transmission performance at low frequencies solves the problem that the substrate integrated waveguide is too large compared to the planar transmission line, and the compactness of the microwave circuit is not high. At the same time, on a smaller device, it can further control the electromagnetic wave

Embodiment Construction

[0020] The technical solution of the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0021] The invention is an SSPP local electromagnetic field enhancer based on folded substrate integrated waveguide, which adopts microstrip feeding and realizes by using unilateral folded strip line based on surface plasmon. The transition structure of the artificial surface plasmon transmission line based on the folded substrate integrated waveguide adopts the microstrip stripline structure and the wrinkled stripline structure with gradually changing groove depth, which realizes the wavenumber matching and impedance between the waveguides matching, thereby maximizing power transfer.

[0022] By loading the unilateral folded strip line, the slow wave transmission characteristics are realized, and the restraint of the electromagnetic field is strengthened. A fully enclosed structure is realized by the introduction of folded substrate integrat...

Abstract

The invention provides an SSPP (Spoof Surface Plasmon Polariton) local electromagnetic field enhancer based on a folded substrate integrated waveguide. The enhancer comprises two-layer dielectric substrates, and upper, middle and lower three-layer metal structures disposed on the dielectric substrates; the enhancer is characterized in that the middle-layer metal structure is a self-symmetrical structure; an input and output microstrip feed line is respectively disposed at two ends of the symmetrical structure; two symmetrical rectangular microstrip lines are disposed at inner sides of the input and output microstrip feed lines; the transition effect is controlled by positions of metal through holes; a rectangular metal sheet is disposed between the two symmetrical microstrip lines; an upper edge of the rectangular metal sheet is provided with multiple metal through holes in a row which are separated uniformly; and a lower edge of the rectangular metal sheet is provided with multiple grooves which are separated uniformly and are equal in groove width. According to the SSPP local electromagnetic field enhancer based on the folded substrate integrated waveguide provided by the invention, the intensity of a local electromagnetic field is enhanced; the transmission performance of a spoof surface plasmon polariton at low frequency is improved; and the problems that the volume of thesubstrate integrated waveguide is too large compared with that of a planar transmission line and the compactness is low when a microwave circuit is integrated are solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of radio frequency microwave devices of electronic devices in wireless communication systems, and in particular relates to a low-loss artificial surface plasmon localized electromagnetic field enhancer using folded substrate substrate integrated waveguide. Background technique [0002] Surface plasmon polariton (SPP) is a special light wavelength slow wave structure, which has the advantages of strong field confinement ability and local electromagnetic field enhancement effect, which can confine light in the sub-wavelength range. Due to the effect that metals appear as perfect conductors at microwave frequencies, SPP cannot propagate. However, by using a one-dimensional or two-dimensional periodic subwavelength structure, the characteristics of SPP can be simulated in the microwave frequency band to realize the artificial surface plasmon polariton (SSPP) mode. At present, two-dimensional or three-dimensiona...
