The noncontact-type electric impedance chromatographic imaging apparatus comprises an insulation measurement pipeline, a contact array-type electric impedance sensor, an excitation and detection unit, a signal processing and data acquisition unit and an image reconstruction computer, whereineach metal electrode in the noncontact array-type electric impedance sensor is connected with the corresponding excitation and detection unit by virtue of a conducting wire, the excitation and detection unit is connected with the signal processing and data acquisition unit by virtue of a flexible flat cable, and the signal processing and data acquisition unit is connected with the image reconstruction computer by virtue of a universal serial bus (USB). By adopting the noncontact-type electric impedance chromatographic imaging apparatus and method, the defects of electrochemical corrosion and electrode polarization caused by the contact-type measurement can be effectively overcome, and the measurement performance of the system can be improved.
