Abstract

The invention relates to a silicon-containing high-temperature-resistant insulating coating and a preparation method thereof. The silicon-containing high-temperature-resistant insulating coating comprises or consists of the following components: a phosphate solution, silicon oxide, aluminium oxide, zinc oxide, silica sol, a diluent and optional boric acid. The method comprises the following steps:preparing the phosphate solution heating a phosphoric acid solution and metal hydroxide to a boiling state, maintaining till a reaction system becomes transparent, and then cooling to room temperature, and ageing for 12 hours or longer; and preparing the silicon-containing high-temperature-resistant insulating coating: adding the phosphate solution, the silicon oxide, the aluminium oxide, the zinc oxide, the silica sol, the diluent and the optional boric acid, uniformly stirring and then performing ball-milling to obtain the silicon-containing high-temperature-resistant insulating coating. The invention further provides application of the coating in preparation of a high-temperature-resistant and/or insulating coating layer. The coating disclosed by the invention has excellent propertiesof high-temperature resistance, insulativity, adhesiveness and the like.
