Abstract

In the DNA molecule, the 2000-2500 bp sequence upstream of the translation start site of the 5' end untranslated region of the ramie BnWOX8 gene is replaced by the sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1. The invention transfers the modified DNA molecule into the ramie plant, and the obtained ramie line shows higher production capacity of the root system, and has no significant influence on the total flavonoid content in the root system.
