Magnesium oxide impurities in the molten magnesium chloride in the purifying chamber are chlorinated into magnesium chloride under the condition of continuously introducing a purifying agent, namely chlorine gas flow, and violently stirring. Impurities, namely iron, silicon and aluminum, generate corresponding low-boiling-point chlorides, escape in a gaseous state and enter a flue gas channel.
