AI Technical Summary

Problems solved by technology

Additionally, some coatings such as organosilanes and perfluorinated compounds tend to be toxic, flammable, corrosive, difficult to handle and damaging to the environment
However, the application of natural macromolecular organic acid-modified hydrophobic carbon materials for VOCs adsorption in high-humidity environments has rarely been reported.
Therefore, the development of hierarchically porous carbon materials with high hydrophobicity as high-efficiency VOCs adsorbents is expected to overcome the shortcomings of existing carbon materials such as low adsorption capacity and poor adsorption performance in competition with water vapor, and has a good application prospect.

[0034] (1) Take 1.5 g of biochar (marked as BC) into a beaker, then add 50 mL of 10% hydrogen peroxide solution for softening, stir for 2 hours, and filter to obtain hydroxylated biochar.

[0035] (2) Then mix the hydroxylated biochar with sodium borohydride at a mass ratio of 1:1 and 50 mL of absolute ethanol, stir for 2 hours, filter, and dry at 80°C for 60 minutes in a nitrogen atmosphere to obtain dry biochar.

[0036] (3) Mix 0.5g of dry biochar, 1g of myristic acid, 0.2g of dehydrating agent and 5mL of absolute ethanol solution to obtain a mixed solution, and add the mixed solution in supercritical CO 2 7.5MPa high pressure in the medium, heating reaction at 50°C for 3 hours to obtain the reacted mixed solution;

[0037] (4) Finally, the precipitate after the reaction mixture was filtered was washed with ethanol and deionized water, and dried under nitrogen atmosphere at 80°C for 60 minutes to obtain modified biochar (marked as BC-C).

Abstract

The invention discloses organic acid hydrophobically-modified biochar based on a supercritical CO2 medium as well as a preparation method and application of the organic acid hydrophobically-modified biochar. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing biochar and a hydrogen peroxide solution, and conducting softening, stirring and filtering to obtain hydroxylated biochar; (2) mixing the hydroxylated biochar, sodium borohydride and absolute ethyl alcohol, and successively conducting stirring, filtering and drying at 50-100 DEG C in an inert gas atmosphere to obtain dried biochar; (3) adding the dried biochar into a solution in which natural macromolecular organic acid, absolute ethyl alcohol and a dehydrating agent are dissolved, and conducting heating and reacting in a supercritical CO2 medium to obtain a reacted mixed solution; and (4) filtering the mixed solution, conducting washing with ethanol and deionized water, and performing drying at 50-100 DEG C in an inert gas atmosphere to obtain the modified biochar. The method has the advantages of simplicity in operation, low price, greenness, environmental protection, small influence on the pore structure of the carbon material, and good adsorption performance on volatile organic compounds in a high-humidity environment.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of porous carbon materials, in particular to carbon dioxide based on supercritical CO 2 Organic acid hydrophobically modified biochar as a medium and its preparation method and application. Background technique [0002] At present, adsorption technology and adsorption-catalytic combustion technology are the main technologies for the effective treatment of medium and low concentration organic waste gas. Among them, adsorbent has become one of the key materials, and carbon-based hierarchical porous materials are widely used as adsorbents for VOCs due to their wide range of sources, such as activated carbon, biochar, biochar fibers, etc., low price and excellent performance. However, engineering practice experience shows that common carbon-based adsorbents face the problem of competing with water vapor for adsorption in engineering applications. For example, in the painting process of automobile manufacturing, wet spray...
