The seeder is provided with the sludge box, the sludge wrapping mechanism, a discharging mechanism, a dry soil box, an installation limiting plate, a potato conveying mechanism and a conveying mechanism; the surfaces of potatoes are wrapped with sludge firstly, and then moisture in the sludge is diluted by the potatoes through dry soil, so that the skins and emerged tender shoots of the potatoes are better protected; and the sludge is buried in the soil and can also provide certain moisture and nutrition for the potatoes, so that the survival rate of the potatoes is increased, and the yield of the potatoes planted by a potato planter is increased.
