Problems solved by technology

[0003] Common cast iron inoculants generally use ferrosilicon inoculants for inoculation treatment. In the process of thin-walled ferritic ductile iron, the alloy content in the molten iron is relatively high, which is easy to reduce the liquid fluidity of the molten iron, making it difficult to maintain a stable inoculation effect. , so that poor quality castings appear

Abstract

The invention discloses a nucleating agent for thin-wall ferritic nodular cast iron. The nucleating agent comprises the following chemical components of, by mass, 60%-65% of Si, 1%-2.5% of Ba, 9%-12% of Cr, 0.1%-0.5% of Al, 0.5%-0.8% of Bi, 1%-1.2% of Ca, 0.3%-0.5% of Sr and the balance of Fe. The invention further provides a preparation method of the nucleating agent for the thin-wall ferritic nodular cast iron. The preparation method comprises the following steps of S1 proportioning; S2 mixing of materials; S3 smelting; S4 cooling; and S5 crushing. According to the nucleating agent and the preparation method, metal aluminum, metal chromium, metal strontium, metal bismuth, metal barium and 75B silicon iron are added into cast iron, phosphorus eutectic is reduced and decomposed through the bismuth element so as to inhibit the anti-chilling effect of the casting, and the section sensitivity of the casting is reduced; and meanwhile, the material source is optimized, and the content of aluminum and calcium is controlled in the proportion, so that the adverse effect on the liquidity of the cast iron liquid is effectively avoided, and the finished product quality of castings is improved to a certain extent.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of inoculant preparation, in particular to an inoculant for thin-walled ferritic nodular cast iron, and also includes a preparation method for the inoculant for thin-walled ferritic nodular cast iron. Background technique [0002] The inoculant is a kind of inoculant that can promote graphitization, reduce the tendency of whitening, improve the morphology and distribution of graphite, increase the number of eutectic groups, and refine the matrix structure. It has a good effect in a short time after inoculation treatment. It is mainly suitable for general or post-instantaneous inoculation in various situations. Inoculation treatment refers to adding a small amount of other substances to the liquid metal during the solidification process to promote nucleation, inhibit growth, and achieve the purpose of refining grains. Customarily, adding additives to cast iron is called inoculation treatment; adding additives...
