The invention discloses a preparation method of an iron-carbon catalyst for Fenton wastewater treatment. The iron-carbon catalyst is prepared from 55-70 wt% of iron oxide powder, 10-15 wt% of fly ash,2-5 wt% of clay, 3-5 wt% of Pingxiang Changfeng porcelain clay powder, 3-5 wt% of natural manganese sands, 10-20 wt% of zinc oxide waste residue powder and 0.3-1 wt% of potassium ferrate through thesteps of ball milling, granulation, drying and high-temperature sintering. Compared with catalysts in the prior art, the iron-carbon microelectrolysis catalyst in the invention has the advantages of good treatment effect, low production cost, convenience in operation and maintenance, wide application range, low power and resource consumption, fast speed and stable effect in a treatment reaction, no secondary pollution, improvement of the biodegradability of wastewater, and facilitation of the sedimentation and biofilm colonization of sludge; and the preparation method can improve the strength, the specific surface area and the porosity of the catalyst and improve the treatment effect and the service life of the catalyst in order to facilitate backwashing.
