Abstract

The iodic product is washed in water, is dried and then is confected into the liquid embolic agent by the dimethyl sulphoxide or N-methyl-ketopyrrolidine organic solvent. The liquid embolic agent prepared by the invention is injectable and can develop under X-ray for a long time. When contacting with blood, the organic solvent diffuses fast for depositing and separating solid to take embolic effect.
