Abstract

The invention relates to an ultrasonically-modified nano heat-insulating powder coating for an aluminum alloy section and a method for preparing the same. The powder coating comprises the following components in part by mass: 100 parts of film-forming agent, 4 to 9 parts of curing agent, 0.6 to 1.5 parts of leveling agent, 0.2 to 0.6 part of degassing agent, 15 parts of hollow microsphere, 5 to 10 parts of ultrasonically-modified nanomaterial and 70 parts of filler. The heat conductivity of the prepared ultrasonically-modified nano heat-insulating powder coating is 0.0932 (W.m-1.K-1) which is reduced by 50.84 percent compared with that of a blank sample without nanomaterial; and therefore, the coating has the characteristics of obviously reduced heat conductivity, simple and convenient preparation and broad application prospect.
