The invention provides a mobile communication base station transceiver employing a software radio technology which is applied to a mobile communication system based on a time division (TD)/ frequency division multiple address (FDMA) technology. The transceiver comprises three components, namely a multi-mode control device, radio frequency front end and a digital signal processing device. The invention also provides a method for realizing the transceiver.
