The preparation method comprises the following steps of: firstly treating montmorillonite used as a raw material with a sodium carbonate solution with mass concentration of 8-10 g / L, then treating the montmorillonite with 0.1 mol / L FeCl3 solution, treating with microwave, and drying and calcining to obtain the enhanced iron-based montmorillonite.
