Abstract

The invention provides wall paint containing nano-titanium dioxide and a preparation method for the wall paint. The wall paint comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 0.1 to 1.0 percent of nano-titanium dioxide, 20 to 40 percent of emulsion, 15 to 25 percent of titanium white, 10 to 40 percent of filler, 0.5 to 2 percent of film-forming agent, 0.5 to 3 percent of aid and 12 to 30 percent of distilled water, wherein the nano-titanium dioxide is anatase nano-titanium dioxide with the particle size of less than 10nm; and the emulsion is pure acrylic emulsion or vinyl acetate/acrylic emulsion or styrene-acrylic emulsion. The wall paint solves the problems about the intermiscibility of anatase nano-titanium dioxide lyosol with the particle size of less than 10nm and a coating system and the dispersibility of nano-titanium dioxide particles in the coating system, and has a good effect of purifying the air.
