The method is characterized in that the biomass charcoal is used as a carbon source, steam is used as an activator, and synthesis gas (H2/CO) is prepared through a decomposition reaction of the biomass charcoal and the steam; the proportion of hydrogen to carbon in the synthesis gas is regulated through using a water gas shift reaction and a calcium hydroxide slurry absorbing method; and the synthesis gas is catalytically converted to the methanol fuel by adopting a copper-zinc-aluminum oxide three-way catalyst. By adopting the method, the methanol fuel with a high additional value is prepared by utilizing the biomass charcoal, so that a green process route for sustainable development is provided.
