Abstract
The invention discloses a water-soluble organic amphoteric copolymer flocculant and a preparation method. The water-soluble organic amphoteric copolymer flocculant is a copolymer formed by copolymerizing three monomers, namely, methyl acrylyl oxyethyl trimethyl ammonium halide, crylic acid-N,N-dimethylamino ethyl ester and 2-acrylamide-2-methyl propanesulfonic acid (salt), with a bifunctional monomer diacrylate. A redox initiator, an inorganic peroxide initiator and a polymerizing auxiliary agent are simultaneously used in the preparation process; the conversion rate of the monomers is increased; the remained monomers are reduced; the flocculant is simply prepared and operated and can be directly used; and the prepared flocculant has the advantages of small dosage, large floc diameter, quick sedimentation, and the like.
