Abstract

A spray welding method for metal plates comprises the flowing steps, wherein a first step is that before welding, welding joints of two metal plates to be welded are treated first, and the welding joints are preheated at 50-200 DEG C till the temperature of the welding joints is below the liquidus temperature; a second step is that metal liquid which is made of the same materials as the metal plates to be welded is prepared in a melting pot, when the degree of superheat of the metal liquid reaches 20-150 DEG C, an atomizing nozzle of a flow guiding tube is connected with the bottom of the melting pot, a stopper rod system at the upper end of the flow guiding tube is lifted for pouring at the welding joints of the metal plates to be welded, the metal liquid forms metal particle atomized cones through atomization by the atomizing nozzle, metal particles are bonded at the welding joints rapidly and remelt with metal at the welding joints at the edges of the metal plates, and the metal particles solidify quickly so that the separate metal plates to be melted can be connected together; a third step is that a subsequent roll is used for rolling of the welding joints in a thermal state so that the metal density inside the welding joints can be improved, and eventually the welding joints reach the same performance level as the metal plates; and a fourth step is that the welding joints are cleaned up and leveled. The spray welding method for the metal plates enables the performance of the welding joints to be consistent with the performance of the metal plates.
