Embodiment 1

[0010] Dissolve silicotungstic acid completely in distilled water, add attapulgite and mix evenly, reflux at 80°C for 16 h, evaporate at 100°C for 4 h, and grind to obtain modified attapulgite for later use.

[0011]

Embodiment 2

[0013] Add 100 mL of 100 mg / L phenol solution and 1 g of the modified attapulgite prepared in Example 1 to a 250 mL Erlenmeyer flask, adjust the pH of the solution to 9, and ultrasonically stir at room temperature for 60 minutes, then centrifuge at a high speed for 30 minutes . Take the supernatant, measure the absorbance at a wavelength of 270nm, and calculate the removal rate of phenol.

[0014] Removal rate = (absorbance before adsorption - absorbance after adsorption) / absorbance before adsorption × 100%

[0015] Its removal rate is 77.75%.

Abstract

The invention relates to preparation and use methods of a clay-class lamellar base-exchange silicate. The preparation method of the modified attapulgite clay comprises completely dissolving silicotungstic acid in distilled water, adding attapulgite clay and uniformly mixing, refluxing at 80DEG C for 16h, evaporating, drying at 100 DEG C for 4h, and crushing. The use method of the modified attapulgite clay comprises adding the modified attapulgite clay described as claim 1 into phenol containing wastewater, adjusting the solution pH to be 9, and after ultrasonic agitation at room temperature, performing high speed centrifugation for 30min. According to the modified attapulgite clay prepared by the preparation method, the XRD (X-ray diffraction) characterization shows that the surface of the attapulgite clay is coated with the silicotungstic acid without change of the crystal structure of the attapulgite clay. Adsorption experiments demonstrate that the modified attapulgite clay can effectively remove phenol in wastewater, and the removal rate can reach as high as 77.75%.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for preparing and using clay layered alkali-exchanged silicate. Background technique [0002] The sources of phenol-containing wastewater are very extensive, and industries such as printing, pesticides, coal mining, polymer resin production, petroleum and petrochemical product processing all produce phenol-containing wastewater. Phenolic compounds are toxic to organisms, but due to their high stability, water solubility and resistance to traditional treatment methods. Therefore it is difficult to remove. At present, there are many methods for treating phenol-containing wastewater, such as: adsorption, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, chemical oxidation, biodegradation, etc. Among them, adsorption method is a commonly used water treatment technology. Contents of the invention [0003] The invention aims to provide a method for preparing and using modified attapulgite that can effectively remove phenol in phenol-...
