According to the application, experiments prove that the cistanche phenylethanoid glycoside extractive enables an organism to adapt to plateau anoxic environment and prevent encephaledema and pneumonedema from generating through anti-anoxia, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative stress and adjusting of aquaporin expression. Additionally, therapy medicine-administration experiments prove that the cistanche phenylethanoid glycoside extractive is capable of reducing incidence rate of limbs edema of a mouse attacked by chronic altitude sickness and mortality, and is capable of effectively reducing the pulmonary artery high pressure and the ventricle hypertrophy degree of a mouse attacked by chronic altitude sickness, and improving cardiopulmonary pathology change.
