Abstract

The invention relates to a heating foam particle sapling-growing box and application thereof, which belong to a growing method for plant saplings. Ground heating wires, the resistance of which is 33Ohm per meter, are laid on the color steel composite plate box bottom, and thereby the sapling-growing box is formed. The basal parts of cuttings are wrapped by nutrition bags and are arranged sequentially in sapling-growing boxes, foam particles which are 1cm to 3m in size fill up the upper space until the foam particles are about 2cm away from terminal buds, newspapers are used for covering the gaps among the cuttings, and are covered by fine sand which is 1cm to 2cm thick, so that a relatively closed space is formed under the newspapers, the temperature in the space is kept at 27 DEG C to 29 DEG C, and carbendazim solution diluted 2000 times is poured into the sapling-growing boxes once every 7 to 8 days, so that the substrate in the sapling-growing boxes is kept wet. After 30 to 40 days of sapling growing, warming box-grown saplings are obtained. The rooting rate of the saplings grown by the method reaches more than 95 percent, the number of the root systems is large, the distribution of the root systems is even, and the survival rate of the transplanted mulberry sapling is increased. Compared with planar sapling growing, multi-layered sapling growing increases the number of grown saplings per unit area.
