Abstract

The flux-cored cutting wire is composed of a flux core and an outer-layer steel belt and is characterized in that the flux core is composed of the following powders, by weight, 4-7% of sodium bicarbonate, 10-18% of dolomite, 10-20% of aluminite powder, 0.05-1.5% of rare-earth oxide and the balance being sodium percarbonate, and the total mass percent is 100%. The preparation method comprises the steps that powders are weighed according to the proportion, the potassium perchlorate, the sodium bicarbonate and the dolomite are evenly mixed firstly, then the rare-earth oxide is added and evenly mixed with the former mixture, and finally the aluminite powder is added and evenly mixed with the mixture; drying is conducted on the evenly mixed powders, and the drying temperature can not be above 50 DEG C; a forming machine is adopted for fabricating the outer-layer steel belt into a U type groove shape, the powers are filled into a U-shaped groove, an opening of the groove is closed, and the powder filling rate is controlled within 18-25%; finally, a wire drawing machine is adopted for conducting drawing and pulling one by one to obtain the flux-cored cutting wire.
