[0046] Based on the electron-ray sensitivity characteristics of PEG-SeNPs, we look forward to developing the application of PEG-SeNPs in the field of radiotherapy. In this example, we studied the in vitro anti-tumor activity of three kinds of nano-selenium PEG-SeNPs, PEGW-SeNPs and PVP-SeNPs combined with radiotherapy. After Hela cells were cultured for 24 hours, different concentrations of nano-selenium were added for pretreatment for 6 hours, and then 8Gy of radiotherapy was applied on a clinical X-ray radiotherapy instrument. Interestingly, after 8Gy of radiotherapy, the green fluorescence accumulated in Hela cells faded, while the blue color of the nucleus was still visible.
