Abstract

The invention provides a kudzu root xylitol gum and a preparation process thereof. The preparation process includes the following steps: 1) with fresh kudzu roots as a gum base, boiling drinking water and cooling the water to 30-60 DEG C; 2) adding 100-210 parts of xylitol, 5-10 parts of acesulfame, 5-10 parts of aspartame, 15-30 parts of menthol, 20-40 parts of fresh milk essence and 40-80 parts of cinnamon essential oil to the water to prepare a material liquid; and 3) stirring the gum base and the material liquid according to the ratio of 1:1-1.5 to enable the gum base to uniformly absorb the material liquid until saturation, and finally sterilizing and drying the gum at high temperature. The wild kudzu roots replaces chemical gum base and the xylitol replaces high-calorie granular sugar, so that the preparation process is simple and is low in material cost. The residue is easy to decompose so that the gum is free of public environment pollution.
