[0130]

[0131] The above-mentioned oxygen-absorbing resin composition of the present invention is usually prepared by kneading the above-mentioned components in a non-oxidizing atmosphere by using an extruder or the like. However, it is also possible to employ a means such as mixing some components in advance and then adding the remaining components thereto.

[0132] For example, a part of the thermoplastic base resin (A), the oxygen absorber (B) and other compounding agents appropriately added are melt-kneaded together by using a twin-screw extruder while performing degassing to prepare its pellet form masterbatch. Immediately before use, the remaining thermoplastic base resin (A) is kneaded therewith, and the mixture is subjected to shaping. In this case, physical properties may differ between the thermoplastic resin used to prepare the masterbatch and the thermoplastic resin kneaded next. The use of the above means makes it possible to adjust the physical properties to...

Embodiment

[0186] The present invention will be further described by way of examples, however, the present invention is by no means limited to the examples. Materials and test methods used in Examples and Comparative Examples are described below.

Synthetic example 1

[0198] 250 g of BX as an oxygen absorbing component raw material (acid anhydride) was supplied to a 1000-mL four-necked separable flask equipped with a stirrer, a nitrogen gas introduction tube, and a dropping funnel. Further, an amine component dissolved in 200 mL of ethanol and 87.1 g of hexamethylenediamine (manufactured by Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.) were gradually added thereto. After they were all charged, the reaction was carried out at 120 to 180° C. in a nitrogen atmosphere for about 5 hours while removing formed water, and an oxygen absorbing component B1 was obtained.

Abstract

The present invention provides an oxygen absorptive resin composition characterized by the following: containing (A) a substrate made of a thermoplastic resin, (B) a bisimide compound derived from tetrahydrophthalic anhydride and an aliphatic diamine, and (C) a transition metal catalyst; the content of the bisimide compound (B) ranging from 0.1 to 10.0wt%; and the content of the transition metal catalyst (C) ranging from 10 to 350ppm as the amount of metal conversion. In this oxygen absorptive resin composition, the issue of yellowing due to absorption of oxygen is solved in spite of the inclusion of an organic oxygen absorbent.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an oxygen-absorbing composition comprising, as an oxygen absorber, a compound which itself has oxygen-absorbing properties. Background technique [0002] Thermoplastic resins or polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) are excellent in properties such as formability, transparency, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance, and further have relatively high resistance to oxygen, for example, and other gas barrier properties. Accordingly, polyester resins have been used in various fields as packaging materials such as films, sheets, and bottles. Further, in order to improve the gas barrier properties of such packaging materials, there is known a multilayer structure comprising a polyester resin having an excellent A layer of a gas barrier resin such as a saponified product of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer or polyamide or the like is used as the intermediate layer. [0003] From the viewpoint of sa...
