Problems solved by technology

[0008] In view of this, the present invention proposes an image compression and reconstruction method based on a liquid crystal tunable filter (Liquid Crystal TunableFilter, generally referred to as LCTF) hyperspectral imaging system, to avoid The existing nonlinear dispersion affects the accuracy of the reconstructed image, and the method of calculating the synthetic coded aperture is used to solve the mismatch problem between the coded aperture and the pixel size of the detector, and improve the spatial resolution of the reconstructed image

Embodiment Construction

[0036] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples.

[0037] The liquid crystal tunable filter (LCTF) in the present invention is composed of a series of birefringent liquid crystal sheets and polarizers stacked together. The target scene image, its spectral resolution is only related to its own structure (birefringent liquid crystal plate and polarizer), and has nothing to do with the coding aperture and the pixel size of the detector. The liquid crystal material with high birefringence is selected, and the electronically controlled birefringence effect of the liquid crystal material is used to continuously tune the spectrum to realize the liquid crystal tunable filter and obtain wavelength conversion. Increase the amplitude of the driving signal of the liquid crystal cell to be large enough, and it is approximately considered that the liquid crystal cell is completely transformed from a uniaxial crystal to ...

Abstract

The invention discloses an image compression and reconstruction method based on LCTF (liquid crystal tunable filter) hyperspectral imaging system; the method prevents the precision of a reconstructed image from being affected by nonlinear dispersion of the original CASSI (coded aperture snapshot spectral imaging) system, the problem that coded aperture is unmatched with pixel size of a detector is solved by means of calculating synthetic aperture size, and spatial resolution of the constructed image is improved. The minimum pixel size of the hyperspectral imaging system is the pixel size of the detector; a target spectral image sequence is acquired through the LCTF hyperspectral imaging system; shift is manually added to each single image in the target spectral image sequence, and the shifted image sequences are superposed in order to obtain a mixed image. The use of the method according to the invention is equivalent to linear dispersion, the correspondence between coded aperture pixel and detector pixel can be analyzed, and the precision of a reconstructed mage can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of hyperspectral image processing, in particular to an image compression and reconstruction method based on an LCTF (Liquid Crystal Tunable Filter, liquid crystal tunable filter) hyperspectral imaging system. Background technique [0002] In recent years, Gehm M, John R and others applied the CS (compressive sensing) theory to the spectral imaging system, and proposed a Coded Aperture Snapshot Spectral Imager (CASSI). The CASSI system consists of a photomask set, an optical dispersive element (such as a prism) and a CCD detector, providing a random mapping between the 3D atlas data cube and the detector measurements. First, the light field of the target scene is modulated by the coded aperture and dispersion components, and then a two-dimensional, aliased projection of the three-dimensional data cube is obtained by the CCD detector, thereby realizing the compression coding of the atlas data cube of the targe...
