The optical parametric oscillator comprises a single transverse-mode semiconductor laser, a focusing lens, an input coupling mirror, a laser grain crystal, a laser concave mirror, a dichroic mirror, a first concave mirror, a non-linear crystal, a second concave mirror, an optical parametric oscillator (OPO) signal light output coupling mirror and an OPO pumping light high-reflection mirror, wherein OPO pumping light generated by the laser grain crystal is focused on the laser grain crystal under effects of the input coupling mirror and the laser concave mirror, and the laser grain crystal is Yb:KYW or Yb:KGW.
