Abstract

The invention discloses modified hydroxyethyl cellulose super-absorbent gel, a preparation method thereof and an application of the gel. The preparation method includes the steps: dissolving succinyl-chitosan in alkaline water solution; gradually adding hydroxyethyl cellulose and sufficiently dissolving the hydroxyethyl cellulose; adding and uniformly dispersing epoxy chloropropane; increasing temperature to 60 DEG C and performing thermal reaction for 4 hours to obtain hydrogel; dicing the hydrogel, alternately washing the hydrogel with deionized water and ethyl alcohol, and drying the hydrogel to obtain the modified hydroxyethyl cellulose super-absorbent gel. The water absorption and saline absorption performance of the modified hydroxyethyl cellulose super-absorbent gel can be regulatedby adjusting preparation process parameters such as usage and sodium hydroxide concentration of succinyl-chitosan and crosslinking agents according to different specific use requirements. As a hydroxyethyl cellulose base material and modified components are natural macromolecules, resources are rich, and the super-absorbent gel has good soil water-holding, water retention and degradation performances and has the advantages of environmental friendliness and sustainability.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of functional macromolecules, and in particular relates to a modified hydroxyethyl cellulose superabsorbent gel and its preparation method and application. Background technique [0002] With today's global warming, the problem of land desertification is becoming more and more serious. How to improve soil water retention, water holding capacity, and increase the effective use of water is a hot spot in people's research. Super-absorbent gels have good water absorption and water retention capabilities. However, most of the current super-absorbent gels are prepared from acrylic acid and acrylamide. These non-renewable and refractory raw materials are used on vast land. Obviously this creates new problems. With the depletion of petroleum resources, more and more people turn the research and development of superabsorbent gels to the field of renewable and easily degradable natural polymers. [0003] Cellulose is...
