All devices form a fiber resonant cavity by means of fiber coupling. The pump source is connected with the input terminal of the gain fiber by the wavelength division multiplexer; the output terminal of the gain fiber is connectedwith the first fiber polarization controller, the fiber fusion mode converter, and the optical isolator successively; and a few-mode fiber output port of the fiber fusion mode converter is connectedwith the second fiber polarization controller. According to the fiber laser device, the loss of the resonant cavity and establishment of the intra-cavity laser oscillation are controlled by the activeQ-switched technology; the laser pulse width compression is realized; the pulse running flexibility is high; and the pulse output energy, repetition frequency and pulse width can be adjusted flexibly.
