Embodiment 1

[0030] The solid waste was washed 15 times with distilled water and dried at 120 °C for 4 h. Take 40g of washed and dried solid waste into a muffle furnace, raise the temperature to 540°C for activation for one hour, and take 20g of Mg(OH) 2 , 20gAlO 3 , 20g of kaolin was put into a muffle furnace and heated to 900°C for activation for one hour, and 27g of solid waste was weighed after activation, 8.4g of Mg(OH) 2 , 15gAlO 3 , 9.6g of kaolin and 40g of starch were weighed and added to the ball milling irrigation together. The two symmetrical ball milling irrigations added the same amount, and 50ml of deionized water was added to each ball milling irrigation, and the ball milling was performed for 10 hours. Then put the ball-milled slurry into a beaker, put it into a drying oven at 100° C. for 24 hours, and then pulverize the dried sample and pass it through a 200-mesh standard sieve. Weigh 1.5g of the sieved powder and put it into a round grinding tool to press it into a ta...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a hydrophobic porous cordierite (2MgO.2Al2O3.5SiO2) ceramic membrane for desalination from high-silicon industrial solid waste as a raw material at a lowcost and belongs to the technical field of desalination. The hydrophobic porous cordierite ceramic membrane prepared from the high-silicon industrial solid waste as the raw material at a low cost isapplied to membrane distillation desalination. Firstly, the solid waste is cleaned with deionized water and then calcined; a cordierite material is prepared from the calcined solid waste, activated magnesium hydroxide, aluminum oxide and kaolin in the ratio of MgO, Al2O3, SiO2 and kaolin being 14%:25%:45%:16% (in percentage by mass); besides, a certain amount of starch is added, the mixture is subjected to ball milling, drying, crushing and sieving, obtained powder is pressed into sheets, then, calcination is performed, and finally, the hydrophobic porous cordierite ceramic membrane is obtained through hydrophobic modification. The ceramic membrane has good pore structures, hydrophobicity, salt removing rate and flux.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for preparing a hydrophobic porous cordierite ceramic membrane for desalination at low cost by using high-silicon industrial solid waste as a raw material, and belongs to the technical field of desalination. Background technique [0002] As we all know, water is the origin of life, and all economic production and life are inseparable from water. No matter how society develops, water is essential, especially fresh water. 65% of the world's water resources are concentrated in ten countries. Today's global fresh water resources are unevenly distributed and scarce, resulting in serious water shortages in 88 developing countries with more than 50% of the world's population. Another 26 countries (about 230 million people) are also water-scarce. [0003] 72% of the earth's surface is covered by water, but there are very few pure fresh water resources that can be directly used for production and life. The total amount of wa...
