Abstract

According to the method, the sulfanilic acid serves as a catalyst and replaces concentrated sulfuricacid, so that esterification reaction acetic acid and ethyl alcohol is catalyzed, the ethyl acetate is synthesized, the influence of the weight ratio of the ethyl alcohol to the acetic acid, catalystdosage, reaction time and reaction temperature on the yield of a product is discussed, and an optimum synthesis condition is determined by an orthogonal experiment. Research results show that ultrasonic power is 500 W, the weight ratio of the ethyl alcohol to the acetic acid is 2.5:1, catalyst dosage is 6%, reaction time is 90 minutes, and the reaction temperature is 90 DEG C. The yield of the purified ethyl acetate reaches 92.4%, and the purity of the ethyl acetate is good by analyzing refractive indexes of the ethyl acetate and infrared spectrums.
