Abstract

The invention discloses a process for extracting theanine from a tea polyphenol waste liquid by adopting a foam separation technology. The process comprises the following steps: (1) performing extraction on the tea polyphenol waste residues to obtain an extraction liquid containing filter residues; (2) performing suction filtration on the extraction liquid containing the filter residues obtained in the step (1) to obtain an extract solution; (3) adding ethyl acetate into the extract solution obtained in the step (2), performing extraction, and performing separation to obtain an aqueous phase liquid for standby application; (4) adding lauryl sodium sulfate into the aqueous phase liquid obtained in the step (3), performing foaming, performing vibration, and collecting foam; (5) performing defoaming on the foam collected in the step (4), performing freeze crystallization, and removing the supernatant to obtain a sedimentation crystal; and (6) performing centrifugation on the crystal obtained in the step (5), performing vacuum freeze drying, collecting the dried crystal, performing recrystallization, and performing drying to obtain the theanine.
