The clean and efficient barium-containing tungsten ore decomposingreagent comprises sodium sulfate; the decomposing reagent containing sodium sulfate and barium-containing tungsten ore are mixed to form a mixture, the mixture is placed in a reaction still, and leaching by hydrothermal process is carried out on the alkaline condition. Leaching solution containing sodium sulfate is adopted to leach the barium-containing tungsten ore, so that barium is converted into safe and non-toxic barium sulfate while enabling wolframate radical ions in the barium-containing tungsten ore to enter the solution.
