Abstract

The invention discloses application of bifidobacterium V9 to vaginal epithelial cell adhesiveness and antibacterial ability. The bifidobacterium V9 can strongly inhibit adhesion of enteric bacilli andstaphylococcus to vaginal epithelial cells so as to achieve a high cure rate on vaginitis, thereby obviously improving inflammatory response of the uterus as well as reducing tissue congestion and edema phenomena; and moreover, the bifidobacterium V9 reduces expression of inflammatory factors IL-1beta and TNF-alpha in rat serum and improves expression of anti-inflammatory factors IL-4, indicatingthat the bifidobacterium V9 has a positive effect on recovery of rat vaginitis. Thus, the bifidobacterium V9 lays a foundation for development of novel microecologics for treating vaginitis.
