The tool comprises an outer frame component and a hoisting component, wherein the outer frame component comprises a bottom plate, stand columns, cross beams, lifting lugs, clamping bases, a positioning base and liquid discharging holes; and the hoisting component comprises a hoisting rod, cross rods, reinforcing ribs, supports, a hook and a hoisting ring. According to the tool for heat treatment of the special-shaped steel castings and the hoisting method, the stability of the castings in heat treatment and hoisting processes can be ensured, direct contact with the castings in a quenching process is avoided, and casting deformation is prevented; and meanwhile, furnace charging is conducted in a vertical mode, tools can be stacked, the hearth space utilization rate is effectively increased, and the furnace charging amount is increased.
