Problems solved by technology

[0003] Polypropylene is one of the most widely used general-purpose plastics. At present, the main welding methods are traditional hot plate welding and ultrasonic welding. Although microwave welding is involved, its application range is very small.
The existing microwave welding is still carried out by applying the absorbing solution on the welding surface. The process is cumbersome and the production is not high. As a result, microwave welding cannot be widely used in the welding of polypropylene materials.

Abstract

The invention discloses a microwave weldable polypropylene material and a preparation method thereof. The microwave weldable polypropylene material is prepared from 50-75 parts by weight of polypropylene, 10 parts by weight of a flexibilizer, 10-50 parts by weight of a microwave absorption enhancer, 5-40 parts by weight of an inorganic filler, 0.4 part by weight of an antioxidant and 0.3 part by weight of a light stabilizer. The microwave absorption enhancer treated by an electrostatic spinning technology is added into the modified polypropylene granules in a blending manner, due to the ultrahigh viscosity of the UHMWPE fiber, the multi-walled carbon nanotube / montmorillonite / UHMWPE compound is enriched on the surface of a polypropylene workpiece obtained by injection molding, and when microwave radiation is carried out, the UHMWPE fiber has excellent mechanical properties. The multi-walled carbon nanotube / montmorillonite compound has a relatively large dielectric constant and good microwave absorption performance, and can convert microwave energy into a large amount of heat, and enough heat enables the temperature of a welding surface to rise and a contact surface to be molten, so that the purpose of welding is achieved.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of polymer modification technology, specifically a microwave-weldable polypropylene material and preparation method thereof. Background [0002] Microwave refers to electromagnetic radiation with a frequency of 300MHz-300GHz and a corresponding wavelength of 1m-1mm in air, which is the abbreviation of a finite frequency band in the electromagnetic spectrum. Microwave in the modern sense refers to electromagnetic waves with a wavelength of 1m-0.1mm. Microwave welding is a method of using microwave energy to connect materials, a process that usually requires the help of microwave-absorbed substances. A microwave-absorbing substance is a substance that can absorb microwaves in large quantities, reflect or scatter microwaves less, and it can convert microwave energy into thermal energy through some action. There are many kinds of common microwave absorbing materials, involving many fields, such as carbon nanotubes, sin...
