Abstract

The present invention relates to a new process for synthesizing various nano-size lanthanide series metal hydride by utilizing lanthanide series metal in organic solvent under the condition of normal temp. and normal pressure and under the action of halohydrocarbon. The transmission electron microscope (TEM) determination result shows that basic granule diameter range of said lanthanide series metal hydride is less than 40 nm. Said invention is characterized by that in the course of synthesizing nano-size lanthanide series metal hydride it has no need of adding metal organic activating agent.
