This invention relates to the field of cough syrup technology, specifically to a device and method for preparing cough syrup by compressing
traditional Chinese medicine tablets. The device includes a side support platform, with a cooking
assembly on one side of the platform. The cooking
assembly includes an inner cooking filter pot, and a third filter pot integrally formed on the outside of the inner cooking filter pot. A
control layer is rotatably arranged between the inner and third filter pots. Through holes are provided along the outer edges of the inner and third filter pots. An adjusting rod is fixedly connected to the outer edge of the
control layer. The adjusting rod passes through the through holes and extends to the outside of the through holes. This invention enables the processes of cooking, pulverizing, centrifuging, and collecting the cough syrup raw materials, saving the manual step of chopping the raw materials and eliminating the need for filtering residue in home cough syrup preparation. The operation is simple and quick, requiring no cooling for residue filtering. Furthermore,
centrifugation and pressing can thoroughly separate the cooked water from the
raw material residue.
