Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preparing a pure water urethane resin and reverse printing ink. The pure water urethane resin is prepared by the following steps of: dehydrating polyester polyol and polyether polyol with molecular weight of between 1,500 and 3,500; reacting the polyester polyol and the polyether polyol with polyisocyanate; and adding copolymer of vinyl chloride and hydroxy-ethyl acrylate into the reaction product and performing polymerization. The synthesis process of the resin is simple; and the ink prepared from the resin has the advantages of high adhesion, high wettability, high dispersion, high adhesion, bright color, high drying speed and no residue on a printed matter. The resin and the ink have wide application range and can be used for plastic thin films such as PET, PVC, BOPP, OPP and the like.
